As a lot of students work and learning materials are digital its hard finding ways to display it to the class and the rest of the school. Campus Channel gives students an audience for their work by streaming content to screens around the schools. This motivates students to develop new skills and builds the feedback loop which is so important in education. Any computer screen can become part of the network whether it’s a projector in a hall, a small screen on a reception desk or a interactive whiteboard. As the price of LCD screens comes down we are working with more and more schools to install screens in hallways, cafeterias and communal areas.

Online Channels

Create online channels using images, video and web content to showcase school achievements.

Any channel that is played in high definition on screens around the school can also be streamed online at a lower resolution. As schools can have multiple online channels it can be a great way for a teacher to communicate with parents and for parents to share in the excitement. A dedicated sports or music channel could be streamed and a dedicated channel can be setup for potential students or parents. All channels can be embedded on websites or blogs and incorporate the ability to be shared via social media networks.

Integrate twitter or blog feeds to showcase whats happening around the school and automatically keep your channels fresh.

RSS feeds can be created from student blogs, twitter feeds or local news sites. Having these feeds automatically display on your channels means there is always something new on the screen. Local, national and international news feeds come pre loaded and make sure students are engaged in current events.
